Before going to the fonts details, let us discuss the story behind the font. Alice in Wonderland is a classic Lewis Carroll story that has been adapted to the big screen multiple times. The last movie version came out in 2010, and Johnny Depp played the Mad Hatter.

The Alice in Wonderland font comes from the Alice in Wonderland movie logo, directed by Tim Burton. The original movie logo inspired the font. The Alice in Wonderland font was designed by a Mexican designer, Marco Trujillo López, in 2010. The typeface has a slightly Halloweenish look. Later in 2019, the font was updated by the designer.

The font is in Gothic style and falls under the category of the Disney Font family. It is a TrueType font with 170 glyphs and 240 characters. The uppercase and lowercase characters and numbers are based on the movie logo and original book materials. Except for the uppercase X, lowercase q, and numbers 6789, ¿!()&%$# symbols were created by Mr. Marco Trujillo López since he couldn’t find official versions of them (by his statement).

Later, many font designers published their versions of the movie logo font. Examples of fonts are Alicia Wonderland by FZ Fonts, WhereisAlicedemo by JoannaVu, etc.

The Alice in Wonderland Font is licensed as Freeware, Non-Commercial. For commercial use, you need to contact the designer.

Usage
