The Boowie Font is a modern minimaist sans serif typeface designed by an Indonesian designer Yadhie Setiawan and published under his own font foundry Typeline Studio on 14 April 2019.

Before we dig more about this Boowie let us introduce the word “Boowie” and where it comes form. We recently talk the font desinger and he actually told us that the font Boowie is a parody art of David Bowie. From there the author was inspired to name this beautiful font. Technically Boowie can develop an image of that parody art in your mind.

Yadhie in his career designed almost 63 different fonts till now. Among them;  Photograph Signature, Amalfi Coast, Signature, Ruthligos, Zombies Reborn, Romantic Couple, Fashion Stamp, Presidente Serif, Switzerland,  Maddison, East Liberty Signature etc. are remarkable. Yadhie considers himself as a signature font designer. He mostly designed many signature fonts.

Boowie is a sans serif typeface font, it is quite slim and attractive. Boowie Regular has 209 Characters and Boowie Italic has 175 characters including several stylish special characters, symbols, currency symbols and so on. You can get this font either in Opentype or Truetype. WOFF format also available if you need. Currently version 1.00 is running and supports almost 80 languages. Only uppercase can be found in this font. There are two different styles of this font, such as; Boowie Regular and Boowie Italic. Unicode blocks of Boowie are basic Latin.
