Optima is a humanist sans-serif typeface font. It was inspired by classical Roman capitals and the stone carvings on Renaissance-period tombstones. Hermann Zapf designed this wonderful font, and it was released by the D. Stempel AG foundry in Frankfurt, Germany in 1958.
Initially, Zapf created it for both body text and titling. But with the wind of time, it was updated gradually. From the beginning, it was an extraordinary font, but now it is much more advanced.
